Mashups
Parking is most of the time a nightmare, especially in big cities. With the mashup "ParkingCarma" it shows availability of parking and is updated regularly. Some places even offer advanced reservations. It combines Microsoft Virtual Earth and Upcoming.org. I wouldn't say this is a great website or that I would use it, but the concept is interesting.

It looks like it's only available in New York City so far? I can definitely see this being useful.
