Album Cover

When doing this exercise I think that my band name, title and picture actually worked out well. the band name "Sacrifice" is actually the album title of a different band.

The picture works well because in my opinion its aesthetically pleasing and was fun to work with in photo shop. I used the lens flare to emphasize the album title which turned out to be a cool effect.

I then used the "sharpen edges" filter which gives the effect on her hair and glasses the most, but overall sharpens the woman in the picture and makes her stand out more. I know we were supposed to use more filters, but none of them added to the effect. I tried to emboss, find edges, and other effects but the messed with the whole idea of the contrast between the background and the person in the picture. I do understand how to use the other filters and make other effects I just didn't want to ruin my album cover.
